The 11th International Conference of American Studies Students has opened. The conference is organized by the Institute of American Studies of the Faculty of Humanities at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the American Studies Student Scientific Circle. The conference “Freedom, Equality, Democracy: The Evolution of the American Idea” is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America. In addition to TSU students, students from higher education institutions in Germany, Denmark and Armenia are participating in the event.
Professor Darejan Tvaltvadze, the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities at TSU, opened the conference and welcomed the audience.
